it changes from car to car.

is the deck from YOUR car. or another car? get the code from the person that the deck came from. if not, get their vin, call honda, and ask them.

I believe you need the serial number of the unit and some sort of proof of ownership. Then the dealer may provide the code for free.

Call your dealership and ask to speak to your salesperson. The raidio code may be on a sticker that is perhaps in your glovebox or in your owners manual. Memorize it if you can. I did.

Otherwise provide a Honda dealership with your vin#, the serial number that is on the back of your radio and your car registration in order to have them look up your radio code in the Honda database.

Check the owners manual, check the glovebox, check the door panel. If YOU bought the car new, the dealer shouldve given you a little card with the seriel number. If you can't find the seriel number anywhere they will charge you too take out the radio and find it. If you have the ability to remove the radio and find the number, they will give it to you. My dealer gave me mine over the phone.
