Compared to other cars, its overpriced. For about the same price you could get the SVT Focass and next year, the Neon SRT-4. The Americans are coming into the game, and they are hitting hard.

the SVT and SI have nearly the same acceleration numbers

for that money you have yourself a GTI, and do away with both in every dept.

Actually, i saw one today, a white civic si, wasn't too impressed with the exterior, looks to jack up and the wheels are cheesy, the front end needs some sort of a lip spoiler, donsn't look tough like the ITR or the SI, however, the more you stare at the front end, the more it looks a like a Ford Focus. Kinda shity to see that, though, i was impress with the seats and the Steering wheel, sorta roomy but not happy with it overall. i think honda is losing there edge, just my two cents, for the money, i rather save up and buy a STI WRX or the EVO.

The new si is lame . I test drove the damn thing and wanted to get out and walk back to the dealership . I have a 2000 EX coupe , and the Si didnt feel all that much faster . In my opinion Honda lost me , I ain't interested no more . As far as the Dodge Neon SRT-4 , I saw it at a local autoshow we had and the car looks kick *** , but its a 4 door URGH . I would drive one if I didn't have to pay for it LOL . Anyways just my 2 1/2 cents LOL

It's a 4 door, but it's the fastest accelerating in the sport compact game right now. Personally, I don't care about the back doors. You'de drive a WRX, wouldn't you?

Really i think that the new Si isnt all that bad. I work for Honda and i have drove it before, the shifter isnt as bad as you would think i kinda like it myself. well thats all i think
