What car is it going in? It will be a bitch to convert your car to cable tranny if you have a 92 and up... but if your doing an EF Z6 the ZC will bolt right in... need the halfshafts.

true, it will bolt up, but you'll have to do some converting to make the clutch mechanism fit. Check out Mista Bone's signature. He has a site about SOHC trannies

Thanks for the 411. I'm thinking of selling my car anyways. Just thinking of things to do if I decide to keep and rebuild it.

well what car you are working on and it's goals help alot...........
IMHO Z6 doesn't need the ZC close ratios, but what do I know???????
D15B7 = 15.08 with close ratio tranny
D16Z6 with stock tranny = 15.08 with stock tranny
D16Z6 with close ratio tranny from above = 15.08
DAMNIT!!!!!!!!! I wanted a 14.99!!!!!
That was 3 years ago and on 20x8x14 MT slicks.
Now on 22x8x13 slicks, the close ratio tranny might just work. But I'm saving it for a Quaife and road course action.
