Default 2002 Civc LX 5 Speed

I just bought a 2002 Honda Civic LX 5 speed manual. I would like to do some light modifications. So far I have decided on Cold Air induction, Cat-Back, and Jet chip. Is there anything else I can bolt on that would improve HP without having to dig into the engine? Also, what manufactures do you suggest for Cat-Back and Cold Air Induction. And how about rain and the Cold Air Induction? I am thinking it may be better to go to the short ram induction systems instead. Thanks

how about a header? AEM makes a bypass valve for their CAI that eliminates the possibility of hydrolock, but from what I've heard, the bypass valve is more or less unnecessary and might be denying you a few hp from the CAI. I see you're new to the forum, let me be the first to welcome you and suggest using the "search" function to help answer any questions you may have.

Sorry bro, but there really aren't a lot of 2002 Civic owners here that I know of - help from experience may be limited here.

Alot of the guys run the "older" stuff like 1992-2000 Civics/Tegs.

I've had my AEM CAI since I bought the car in 98. I've had zero problems with it or my motor which would pertain to water and the intake. I drive no different in the rain than I do when its dry, maybe a little slower. Just don't go plowing through 1' deep puddles of water.

Welcome to the forum , as far as modifications go , I haven't seen many 2001-2002 models modified yet . In fact the only one I saw was silver with a body kit , and altezza's ((gagging noises)) . I am sure if you hold out alittle longer they will start making more parts for your model year , But like B185c said there aren't many owners out there "YET"

Good luck
