2001 Integra GSR
Can i throw a 2001 Integra GSR engine into a (5 Civic DX Coupe??
i would buy the entire integra and take the motor out so i would have everything the integra needs to run. i just wanna know if it would fit and work in my 95 civ.

Re: 2001 Integra GSR
Sorry for the rudeness of others, I remember how I was when I was new on here.
You should be able to get it bar'd, you will have all the paperwork and everything, you just have to make sure everything works correctly. The ECU from the 2001 Integra is going to be Obd2b and your car is Obd1, so you will need to get a Jumper harness to run the ECU that is in the 2001 Integra in your car or you will need to just get an Obd1 p72 ECU.

Re: 2001 Integra GSR
you will go through WAY TOO MUCH trouble trying to convert the whole car to obd2 rather than just getting the conversion harness, Me personally I would just get the harness and run it that way.

You can use the GS-R engine harness. it's 100% plug and play. No swapping distributors, alternators, or injectors. You will need to get a conversion harness OBD1-OBD2B to run the ECU there is no way around that.
http://www.boomslang.us/obd1to2.htm <-- that's an example of one.

I knew he could run the ITR harness, wasn't sure about the Gsr harness though . Thank you for the information .
