Just wire up the 3 vtec wire to the ecu than your good
i work on a 97civic dx with a 99ex(y8) motor

i know i will never pass inspection with a obd1 ecu.

that sounds too easy... i cant fid that diagram, still searching...
i know i will never pass inspection with a obd1 ecu.
