well, dont forget, you never get back what you put in. so even though you have all that work done to it, it really doesnt actually increase the value of the car, however people will pay more for it when it has stuff done, so it isnt really "worth" more i guess... so go to http://www.kbb.com and put all of the info in, and then add like another grand or so.. or put it up more 2 grand more, and see what people drop the price to.

how many miles on it? you won't get as much as you want since it doesn't have a clean title, and most people would pay a lot more if it was bone stock...i'd sell it on a forum rather than autotrader to get the most money.

Wrecked title means you will be lucky to get 6-7K for it, Sorry to tell you

Don't matter that its 'rebuilt', it still means the car was 'in some serious ****' and not everyone will believe that it was due to theft.

if some one came to look at it and new a thing or 2 you could look for signs that the car has been in an accident like overspay on paint, paint not matching excess welds, not driving down the street strait. but you do make i good point tho. im not tryinf to make a killing on this car i got it pretty cheap but also put a decent amount of money into it. well i gota finish it and well see what i get for it.

thanks

People are stupid, They are gonna see a rebuilt title, and then they are gonna assume it was in a bad accident no matter how perfect it looks or drive.

Good luck on the sale though, I'm always a sucker for 99-00 SI's

At some point i would have just walked away from a rebuilt title, but at this point i find they can be an excellent bargin, if they're done right, i know of a guy who rebuilds vehicles for a living, he mostly does toyota tacomas, i've seen his finished products and i've been through the shop. He doesn't cut corners, you would never know any of his vehicles had ever even been in so much as a fender bender when they're done and they're cheaper than normal used.

i really dont want to sell it but i have 2. i cant drive a 2000 civic si and not have to worry about getting pulled over. any cop that see's a white kid in a civic with wheels on it they suddenly assume that there up to no good. and i cant afford it. the car isnt hacked at all i built it right and took my time and if som1 comes to look at it to buy they will see that. so i want to sell it make some money and buy a small truck thats good on gas and build my hatch. nd hope that i dont get pulled over for the next 2 years

good luck on not getting pulled for 2 years.......Havent you tried getting a Restricted license? cuz if you dont have a license chances are your truck ain't insured and thats even worse, sum jackass might hit you. Anyways I would swap the stock motor back in and keep the built one.
