2000 Si & GSR power steering pump
I have a 2000 Si, I needed to buy a power steering pump and picked up a GSR pump (p72-3) but when I mount it on and bolt it in I cannot get the belt to fit. I didn't think they were interchangeable but a few people told me they were. So just for clarification are they? and if so why won't it fit??

Re: 2000 Si & GSR power steering pump
the 94-01 GSR and 99-00 SI had the same part number for a power steering belt
they were the exact same size and thats why im mostly confused

No they do not. The si ps belt part number is 56992-P2T-003 while the integra is 56992-P72-004 regardless of sub model. The reason being is that the b16 block has a shorter deck height therefore a shorter belt for the ps. good luck.
