2000 Si.. buying parts...
Well, as of now I've been buying OEM parts but I wanted to get a few things aftermarket. I was looking for drill and slotted disk brake with red coated calipers for example, on ebay. Its just hard for me to tell, what is the good and what is the bad. I saw this one and almost bought it, but decided to wait. http://pages.ebay.com/motors/link/?nav=item.view&id=281308335105&alt=web. Any advice on a decent place for me to get parts that arnt really OEM.

if you want to paint your calipers, just do that yourself with paint from the auto parts stores.
as for rotors, you honestly don't need drilled/slotted rotors. but if you really want it, brembo, stoptech are some brands i like

No need for slotted rotors. And painted calipers look horrible, but if you want them just get the paint.

if you really want coloured calipers not diy painted get some Spoon twin block calipers...but then again they're probably worth 75% of your car so maybe not. Stop looking at knock off crap on ebay there's plenty of quality parts out there.

IIRC rockauto sells a "performance" caliper package that's already coated red. Includes slotted/drilled powerstop rotors and power stop pads. Look into that.
Slotted/drilled rotors look almost as dumb as red single piston calipers do. But that's my opinion.

If you're dead set on drilled/slotted go to rockauto.com. They have centric rotors (basicly stoptech) for a pretty good price.
For caliper paint, go to a parts store and pick up a couple cans of Duplicolor caliper paint. It's good stuff.

Although, I do like the way silver painted calipers look. It makes them just look like brand new Honda zinc plated calipers. I do that on a lot of cars. I use 2000 degree paint and clear coat. It's preceded by a long amd careful prep process. I don't f#&k around. But the coating lasts for years and years after I do it. Looks great.
