2000 SI B16A2 swap into 2000 Hatch problem
I just swapped out my stock D16Y7 engine and trans and put in a 2000 Si B16A2 and tranny. Heres my problem everythings swapped out fine i understand the 2nd O2 sensor isnt part if the engine harness like the D16Y7's was. I have a DC header Magnaflow cat then yonaka exhaust all the way back. I put a Universal Denso O2 sensor in the magnaflow cat. The wires coming off the universal O2 are white, blue, black and black. I made some extended wires all the same color coming upward then run thru the firewall down to ECU [ P2T ]. heres my problem from what i read on FF squads site I connected the wires exactly how it said to. White goes to A23 which is white/red wire , blue to C18 Green/black , black to A8 black/white, and the other black to B1 Yellow/black. I have no clue why i cant get this car to run good the engine light is still on with the code reading P0117 which says coolant temp sensor its a new sensor. I also tried a sensor out of my GSR which i know is good no difference. Im ready to burn my car can someone with wiring experience tell me what Im doing wrong. with that coolant code on could my O2 wiring still be screwy> I really need some help I didnt think Id have this hard a time doing which should be a easy swap? please Anyone I also tried the 2 black wires both ways no difference
