2000 obd2 B16 into obd1 chassis
I've tried searching a couple times but can't seem to find exactly what im looking for... I have a 94 dx civic with a 2000 b16 in it, I'm pretty sure it has some wiring problems and the wrong distributor on it. It is runing a obd1 p30 ecu and the stock dx obd1 engine harness.
-What all on the stock dx non-vtec engine harness has to be wired up?
-Can the stock obd2 dizzy be run with this obd1 p30 ecu? I know the motor has the wrong dizzy on it currently, only 2 of the 3 mounts are lined up correctly. Maybe he put an obd1 dizzy on it??
-If i was to run an obd2 b16 dizzy, would i be able to adapt the plug? I hear the 99/00 b16 has a different style plug...
Basically I'm just trying to re-do somebody's wiring mistake. The car runs good sometimes, and then other times its like its runing on not 4 cylinders and i think it throws a code to the ecu, which makes me rev-limit at 3500 RPM. Car will sound like a subaru boxter engine.
Thanks for your help.

^ thanks thats pretty much what i thought i needed to do.
the engine harness being different for the obd2 b16 (one piece) is what confused me. the article says to get an obd2 integra harness. so that basically means all i can use is an obd2 gsr engine harness???

ok i understand that. even though it has the extra plugs on it for the iab on the gsr, etc, it will work fine for me?
any idea why the 99/00 b16 intake manifold doesnt have an air intake temp sensor? what should i do about this?

thats cause they have it on the intake piping...you can drill a hole on to the intake piping and plug it there..with a rubber gourment ofcourse...
