Default 2000 Honda civic... Transmissions Issues!

I got a 00 Civic Swapped with a b series.
It has new master and slave cylinders, as well as a new steel braided line.

The tranny at times stays in gear, other times it wont go into gear.
If I pump the peddle a few times it eventually starts working again.

I've bled the clutch and bled the clutch and bled the clutch.. Same situation.

Is my clutch too stiff?
Its an ACT 6 Puck with the Xtreme pressure plate I believe..
Does life just hate me?
whats going onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn?!

Sounds like you still have some air in there. I have a B16A2 swap.

I didn't check the fluid level for about a year, and it got a little on the low side.

I first noticed the low fluid level when I started missing shifts, here n' there -- once or twice a day. And, it felt like the clutch peddle was actuating a little closer to the floor.

I topped off the fluid and thought that would take care of it -- but it didn't.

I drove it that way for a few days (pumping the pedal occasionally) thinking the air bubbles would eventually work there way back to the reservoir. This went on for a week. I figured, if it was still doing it by the weekend, I would purge the system.

On the last day of the week, it magically started working again. I assume the air bubbles finally worked their way back to the reservoir.

Anyway...

What you are describing is (essentially) the same thing that was happening to me, when I had air in the system. The only difference is... I could still get my car in gear.

If it was me, I'd bleed the system again...
