2000 Honda civic Ex Brake warning dash light on
The brake light on the dash came on a few weeks ago. It has plenty of brake fluid, just a bit under max. It's not bright though, its pretty dim. It gets bright when I pull up the Emergency brake. The cables on the brake fluid reservoir seem fine.
Also should the E brake be kinda loose? Its pretty easy to pull up. should it lock into place when I put it back down because mine just goes down and is easy to pull up

A few days ago I noticed the reservoir cap wasn't tightened all the way. I tightened it but the light stayed on. Should I disconnect that battery to see if it goes away?
