Hi there every one
I have a 2000 hatch back,one cold day,I went to start my car and it couldn't start,So I thought it was just a weak battery,replaced it with a new battery,Still wouldn't start,Check for fuel and fuel is coming,cause I flooded it,So I removed the plugs and dry them out.Tried again and it was flooded again.So then I checked for spark ,no spark detected,So I thought it was a faulty distributor cause it is a common thing on a honda,so I replaced that too and still no spark,after that I thought maybe the ignition key is not sending a signal to distributor ,so again I replaced the ignition key and still no luck.Also checked all fuses and relays and are all good and replaced the main relay too.Please need help and out of a vehicle to work currently taking transit now.Hope to here from you all Thank you

have you checked all your grounds if loose there will be no power,do you have any power at all?like dome light,headlight,radio????

Yes all my accesories are working my radio ,headlights and all heater controls are all working fine.

hmm,when you said you change your distributor you got a new one or just added parts to your old one?still chexk your grounds,

With the key turned to ON(II), do you measure battery voltage at the Blk/Yel wire attached to the ICM in the distributor?

Check out your starter... bang on it a couple of times and then try to start it...

and if that doesnt work go to autozone and have them test it its better that way you will narrow your options on what it could be

yes the blk/yellow wire has power,I test it with my test light,also all grounds connected on engine,also start is good turns over engine

Is the CEL ON?

Check whether your timing belt snapped. Peer into the oil fill hole while a buddy cranks the engine. Do you see the rocker arms moving?

no check engine lights are on checked it with paperclip,also timing belt is not snapped rockers are moving.

Check the Yel/Grn wire that runs between the ICM and ECU for continuity and a short.

If the Yel/Grn wire is fine, then the ECU may be bad.

Does the CEL work? = turns ON for 2 seconds and then OFF when the key is turned to ON(II).

I well check the blu tac wire and the yellow/green wire from ecm and from distriutor to ground tomorrow.The blk/yell has power check that one already.Yes my check engine light works cause I checked it by the paper clip method and shows no codes.Thank you for the help I well get back to you guys tomorrow.I have a feeling its a bad ecu.Cause I had 3 distributors from previous swaps and they were all from running engines,swaped them in and still the same no spark

Hi there everyone
I finally got my car running again,2 things that I learnt I had a broken wire miss connection from my ecm to the distributor it was a yellow wire for the cam position,also my engine was really flood with fuel in oil after changing the oil and repaired the wire.It fires up,the sad part about all this is it took me a whole 2 weeks to trace the wire.
