2000 Hatch with Autopower roll bar
Hey guys,
I want to put an Autopower Race Roll br in my 2000 Hatch, but I am curious if the back seats can be used with the bar installed? I want to get the bar with bolt in cross bar and harness bar.
does anyone know if the rear seats can still be used? I searched but didn't find any answers to my question. Thanks

autopower bars come in a variety of configurations. you can order them with just a diagnal bar, just a cross bar, and x brace, a removeable x brace, or even no brace at all... totally up to you and what you want.

If you are using the race bar, then the back seats should not be used.
If you look at the pictures attached, you will see that the harness mount bar will be right in front of the rear passengers. This will put them in serious danger if not lethal danger if you are in a crash.
Removable bar
Solid bar
If you are going to run the race bar setup, I would not use the rear seats. I pulled the rear seats in my hatchback when I installed my Autopower race bar.

thats why i wanted to know if the seat could be kept in. if i got the bar with bolt in cross bar and harness bar, i could take them out for daily driving and put them in when i want to use a harness

any type of roll bar/roll cage renders the back seats useless for passengers. that however, doesn't apply if you want some to leave with cracked skulls.
