Direct drop in and i belive it is mandatory for swaps....if you bet a b16 or itr fuel pump your better off.

gsr/itr pump = identical
not sure about b16/99-00 SI pump.
I haven't run a teg pump yet, and have had no fuel issues with my swap, fuel psi ~50 on stock injectors and tuned. I'm doing it for piece of mind though and the pump is alot younger than my 110k VX pump

Re: (92-EG6)
The B18B came with the same 79lhr fuel pump that all of the D series cars did. The SI/ITR/GSR all came with a 135lhr fuel pump. The Walbro flows more, but the 135 is good enough for the ITR, so unless you plan on making more than 200hp I would'nt bother spending the extra money on the Walbro. I have one and its loud as ****.

only SWAp THE PUMP IT'S SELF NOT THE TOP PLATE ADN ALL THAT, THERE ARE NO SENSORS INVOLVED.
Just remove the pump from inside the tank and swap the bumps from the assembly and put the assembly back in...just be very very carful not to dampage the filter....i comes out at a angle when you try to take out of the tank, just do it ever so slowly and don't pull hard.
