Re: 2000 front end conversion question
Converted my 98 front end to a 99 front end for about $300. I didnt get the bumper support though, so it doesnt fit perfectly...
And of course the paint isnt perfectly matched, so if you really want it to look good, paint it...
Im not sure what bumper support you even really need...
All in all, im not sure if it was worth it for me...

Re: 2000 front end conversion question
it wont fit right without the hood, grill, light, fenders. you dont need to change the support, you just need to cut a piece off with tin snips and drill a hole. works perfect have done it many times.

Yeah, everyone goes out and buys an Integra because it's a pain to fit a 99 front end on a 96-98 civic.

Re: 2000 front end conversion question
to me, doing the facelift on my 96 hatch was easy.. like really easy.. yeah, you need the hood, fenders, grille, bumper, headlights, and hood. its definently not hard to make it fit well, maybe its because i used new OE parts and not some 'oe style' stuff.

That and Si taillights. My friend always says how sweet his Si tails are, even though I tell him all the time that they are the same as all 99-00 civics.

Re: 2000 front end conversion question
I just mentioned it so he would not be out looking for just an "Si Bumper" and so that he knew he could grab a bumper off any 99-00 civic thus widening his search criteria...
