2000 ex idle problems

2000 ex idle problems
ok when i start my 2000 civic ex, it wants to idle up to almost 2000 rpms, once i give it a little gas it comes back down to about 800 rpms. on a cold start and go the car wants to lose power and almost die and then it kicks back in and runs normal. anyone help??
