Default doing a del sol shell swap this weekend, any tips?

So i'm swapping my 95 del sol si, with a 94 del sol si shell (due to bad rust) this weekend... Has anybody done anything similar? and is there any advice? I am very mechanically inclined, but have never done a job like this before. The only other option is, paying someone to weld in the new panels and rockers from the donor car, and lets face it that could be expensive. So I figured this would be quite a bit cheaper, but more of a possible challenge. I appreciate any help.

Thanks

Just keep track of your parts. It's a good idea to go pick up a tackle box or plastic organizer to keep the various nuts and bolts separated, label the organizer as you go using masking tape and a sharpie. Beyond that it's pretty straight forward. What you're doing is far easier than cutting out and welding in panels, you will end up with a much, much better finished product and it will take a lot less time.

You didn't mention it, but if you're planning to paint the new shell the best thing to do is strip it now and paint it, then swap everything over.
