Ok Yall I need some help with my 2000 Ej. I replaced my front window motors both didnt work .. I got the driver side done and working .. I swapped the passenger side out and turned the power on to try to move the part that holds the window in to place to be able to bolt on the window .. When I turned on the power the part went all the way up as high as it could on its own ... High enough I can put window on right .. I went and got new switches for the driver door and passenger door thinking one was bad making it go up on its own. But swtiches swapped no change .. Can get it to move down or move at all but I know it works cause it moved all the way up what else could be the issue.. Switches are good I seems fuses are good and new window motors ..?? I dont know what else it could be

Just did this to my 99 Civic. The passenger side window is controlled through the main switch on the driver side, so if the wiring is bad to the drivers door your passenger window wont work. I would open the driver side door, look for the wire harness to the door, pull the rubber boot off, and look for wires that have come out of the connector. I had 2 wires broken on my that I had to repin into the connector. Also, before you reinstall your door panels make sure you window goes up and down in the channels smoothly. I just noticed my passenger side that wasn't working is out of alignment, so now I have to take the door apart again.
