Re: 2000 Civic SiR EM1 project- Vogue Silver
Well, i've been driving the car around for just over a week now. Fun to drive, the factory suspension works pretty good for what it is, but is coming out soon.
Also, the B16's days are limited. It's too laggy for me, i can't wait to get the B18C in there, i am more motivated each day, but still need to find a deal on a quality lightened flywheel.
Here's a couple of day shots. Got the illegal tint removed from the front windows, so no need to worry about cops bugging me any more about them. Also ordered up a new grill yesterday
The back now looks very stock. The old looking Canadian "SiR" decal is completely off, and i put a new Si one onto replace it

I also was able to get to my front grill over the last couple days. It is now black like it's supposed to be
Coil overs are next on the list, then wheels/tires!

Updates today!
Although i didn't have time to lower it this weekend it's coming
On the exterior
- new wheels/tires....16"
- redid the front grill in black, and installed a new oem grill surround
I'm still waiting on getting my front lip back. Inside, i installed a new oem ITR shift boot, along with a late model accessory Prelude shift **** that matches perfectly. It will sit a little bit better once i do the engine swap, and i use the extra ITR shifter with it. The position will be perfect!!

Update! With as little free time at home i get these days, here's where i'm at.....
Got the front of the car lowered, and the back i had the common problem of bolts in my rear LCA's are seized together, ha ha
I ordered up a pair of new oem LCA's. Some of you may ask why i didn't go aftermarket, well, i work for Honda, and get a much better deal than any aftermarket arm, plus quality is still top notch and won't make a difference for my day to day.
Also grabbed a set of new front rotors. I didn't know that factory painted up the hats of the rotors to make them look pretty :D

Suspension work today! Got that thing jacked!! Ha ha (cell phone pis this time)
God, the bottom rear lower control arm bolts are not fun to remove after years of use, and being through winter driving. Breaking bolts, sawing and cutting....not finished yet, but getting there. Should be done tomorrow
