2000 civic si vtec problem?
Sometimes when I hit vtec it seems to cutout then come back on around 6800 rpms? Wtf is wrong. I searched and all I got was maybe low oil pressure? Maybe solenoid.

If problem still present after oil change check Solenoid by take it out apart and clean up inside of it. Sometime oil build up inside solenoid. Good Luck.

I took a look at it (vtec solenoid) earlier (in the dark at around 12 AM). And I couldn't really see how it would be dissambled? Thanks!

Couple of bolts hold the solenoid to the head. Take it off and clean out the screen in there.
BEFORE YOU DO THAT THOUGH, get yourself another solenoid gasket from Honda to replace your old one. Not a good idea to reuse a 6 year old rubber gasket you just pulled off.
