Default 2000 civic si turbo HELP

Hey guys, I have a 2000 civic si with a b16a2 with:
9:1 je pistons
eagle rods
dsm 440cc injectors
Greddy turbo kit

My question is I just bought the hondata s300 unit and I need to know what is a good way of getting my car to a tuner. The nearest one is about 45 minutes away? Can i drive the car or what do I need to do in the software provided by hondata to make it work. Also someone told I can just un-hook the charge pipes for the turbo and drive it to the tuner then rehook them when I get there. Does anyone have any suggestions or even calibrations for my setup so I can make it there safely? Thanks guys

u can "unhook" the charge piping or tow it. i would use a base map, find a friend with a wideband and make a good street tune and drive it up there. assuming ur old system management wasn't the factory ecu u could plug in your engine management (greddy emanage, afc hack, crome p28, etc..) and drive it up there.

I have the greddy emange still. But I have never installed it. It is not easy towing the car, it is lowered. How will it run if i unhook the charge piping and run the old ecu?

You have 3 options:

-Drive up there and never boost.
-Unhook your charge pipe and drive there.
-Tow it up there.

I would suggest the latter of the 3. It's the safest way (though it may be a bit expensive)

How would that work? He doesn't have an ecu to run a boosted engine with?

Edit: ^^^^^^ It will run pig rich because of the injectors but you won't be boosting. You also might be in limp mode. If you do run without the charge pipe, be sure to put some kind of "filtering element" (sock, filter, stocking) to keep anything big out of the engine.
