2000 civic si not starting
I have a 2000 civic si with about 145000 miles on it. The speedometer stopped working this morning. When I took my car to go to the gym the rpm's stopped working then the radio shut off. After I got to a stop light the car idled rough then died. Car will beep when keys in the ignition and my phone will charge but nothing else turns on. Never had problems with it before. Any suggestions.

Test the battery - charge or replace if necessary.
Clean battery connectors and the battery ground wire.
Check whether 7.5A fuse 15 is blown.
One engine starts, take car to an auto parts store to have the alternator tested.

Re: 2000 civic si not starting
When i jump started it, it ran fine for like 5 min. Im not sure if the speedometer worked but the rpm's did. After about 5 min it died again. I was thinking alternator but I'll test everything out. Thanks
