2000 civic si noise
Just replaced both axles and front balljoints but wondering if I should've replaced the half shaft also. I have a squeaking noise sometimes when I engage in 1st gear and sometimes when I go to turn and engage in to 2nd or 3rd depending on how fast I go. Buddy told me it was my throw out bearing but I'm not so sure. Heard a bad half shaft would make that noise also.

Turn your car on, sink the clutch, put in gear but don't release clutch, have someone listen in the gearbox if they hear a sound, maybe a chattering or squeaking sound, if you do, it would usually be the throw out bearing
