2000 civic si - iacv CEL code
Having a problem. Keep throwing a iacv code after doing a head gasket so I hard wired it to my obd1 jumper harness and still throwing the code. Idk what to do for the ground part
Motor is a lsvtec with gsr head and intake and b18a block running id 1000 on hondata s300

Why are you running an OBD1 ECU rather than the stock OBD2b one? Your first post is missing engine information.
There are 3 different IACV-related codes for OBD2 ECUs, whereas for OBD1, they all fall under code 14. That's why the stock OBD2 ECU would provide more information.

Are you using a GSR intake manifold? If so, you will ideally want to find an OBD2B GSR ecu to read the code. Otherwise an OBD2B EM1 ecu is your best bet to get the code.
Then again, I'm pretty sure 2000-2001 GSR ecu will have an immobilizer so stay away from that. Well, on second thought, it may be fine because you don't need to run the engine to get the code. Just turn the key to the ON position.

sorry but its the truth. the homie got him self a 30-6040 for his h2b hatch and omg the FEATURES!!!! its much more better looking at well the interface. its easier to navigate. just worth the money!!!!!!!! and if you ever want to go coil on plug all you have to do is open the aem ecu and soldier some resisters and bam you got coil on plugs if i remember right. you'll just need an $300 part to re place the distributor
