2000 civic si(canadian/ ex in usa) heat on driver side none on passenger side
Hi
I've notice lately that my car interior heat is off.... It blows hot out the floor, center, defogger, and on the driver side. But the passenger side vent by the door is blowing cold air in... I have searched and searched and cant find anything.... Some one please Help!

Test
Disconnect the 7P connector from the mode control
motor.
2.Connect battery power to the No, 1 terminal, and
groundt heN o.7t erminal ,
CAUTION: Never connecl the battery in iho opposite
direction.
3.Using a jumper wire , connect the No. 7 terminal
individual ltyo the No. 2,3, 4,5 and6 terminalsin
that order. Each time the connection is made, the
mode control motor should run smoothly and stop.
NOTE: lf the mode control motor does not run when
jumping the first terminal, jump that terminal again
after jumping the other terminals. The mode control
motor is OK if it runs when jumping the first terminal again.
4.lf the mode control motor does not run in step 3,
remove it. then check the mode control linkage and
doors for smooth movement. If they move smoothly,
replace the mode control motor.

It sounds like a flap is stuck closed and won't open. Are you able to adjust the temp inside to cold again and then back to hot?

Also if you are using windows Vista or Windows 7 (not sure about 8) you can use the snipping tool. Found in Windows Button, All Programs, Accessories, Snipping Tool. Has a bit more fuctionality than just a screen capture, i.e. highlighting etc.

Yeah I can adjust the temperature from hot to cold. Just that one vent is still cold on both temps....
