2000 Civic Si bogging at low rpm's when warm!
Hey guys so i recently bought a 00 Si and it was running fine for a while till one day it left me stranded on the freeway, my friend checked it out and determined it was my timing belt. So i got it replaced and timing was correct but was bogging at low rpms!
After adjusting the distributor timing to 12. It seemed to be running perfectly like before, but after a while and at full operating temperature it started to bogg down again at low rpm's in any gear but it eventually picks up after 4000 rpm,
I had a check engine code before the timing belt went out for the second sensor (post cat) i believe, code p0141. I have not replaced it yet but ive read that it shouldnt affect with the bogging?
Will the bad o2 sensor be causing this bogging? Or should i re adjust the timing by tapping into the ecu connection? (i didnt do it in the first place)
Hopefully a full tune up will do the job! Please let me know what you guys think

Yeah Ill change the o2 sensor and take a look at the cat but it was installed by the previous owner not too long ago.

He could of went to a junk yard and bought a "new" one. I had one of my cars do this. I would let it warm up and once warm it would bog and seem o be running on 2 pistons. It has to do with either ignition or your cat.

Bump
Ok so i got the cat checked out and its still good, i recently got my engine rebuilt, i got my car back yesterday and it still hesitates on acceleration! I still have the CEL P0141 for the secondary o2 sensor, i ordered it already just in case. This is my last conclusion on why its bogging out but i hear that the secondary o2 wont affect the engine with the hesitation? Maybe my plug wires or cap and rotor? Running out of ideas
