2000 Civic Si and 98+ b18c5
I have a 2000 Honda Civic Si and am in the process of purchasing a 98+ b18c5 from jdm-online.com in Montreal. I've talked to hmotorsonline.com as well, but they are out of stock for about a month, and I'm wanting to get this going. hmotorsonline tells me that I need a sub-harness to be able to hook the Type R ECU into the Civic due to the Civic being OBD2 and the 98+ b18c5 being OBD2b. However, jdm-online tells me I don't need a harness to hook this up. Who's right? I'm wanting to have no hiccups when putting this thing in.
Also, has anyone dealt with jdm-online? If so, please share your experience.

The ECU you will be getting with the engine is OBD2A, your car is OBD2B. You will need a conversion harness to plug it in. There was no OBD2B in japan.
