2000 Civic Si
I want to add some ponies to my Si and was wondering what the best approach is. I have an AEM intake and a Flowmaster exhaust on it right now.
I need a new clutch and I want to increase speed some but I want to do it right. I am not interested in putting a turbo in it atm.
I am in San Diego, if there are any locals that could help that would be great.
Any ideas? I hope this is the right place to post this, and I am sorry if it is not. Thanks for your time.

A simple search would yield a jillion threads on this - just read & learn like a normal person instead of looking for instant gratification for god's sake.
Without FI, you're really limited to the basic bolt-ons that will net you very little on the torquless wonder B16.

Checkout Southland Clutch by Mile of cars in San Diego. I had probs with my clutch when doing my SOHC vtec swap and they were ready to drive out to my house in east county and help me out to make sure i was putting it in correctly, very nice guys down there.

I've always used Exedy clutches and they haven't let me down yet. As for N/a Hp, I would get an lsd for that tranny and then get a type r or gsr block and build it. Port and polish the head, get whatever cams you choose and a decent valvetrain and if your a real baller get some ITB'S YO! Then hondata or uberdata. Then slam the hell out of it with some baller wheels.....then...hmm, Shocker sticker FTW!!

Re: (EkSi)
Sandmaggot thanks for the recommendation, you are the second person from the area that has recommended them, I dropped them an email.
Listen I am new to mod'ing cars and wanted to ensure that I am getting the scoop from you guys on, the experts on the latest and best parts.
I am not new to forums as I admin a couple and yes the search feature is great and is a wealth of knowledge yet very unpersonal to certain questions that I may ask or you may raise.
I didnt mean to aggrevate anyone and I apologize if I was the 30th dude to post a question like this on the board today, and I am sorry for the admins having to clear 50 million spam messages from each forum everyday.
Have a good day, and Meshmasteryow, your post is hiliarious
Here is a quick pic as my ride stands for those interested:

Re: (dremeda)
If you dont want to do turbo, A vortech or jackson racing supercharger is always an option. This is a reliable setup that has instant power. If you don't want want any forced induction, build your head and throw in some nice cams. good luck

whaaaat? You said no turbo, that's NOT a turbo.
It's actually what I'm planning to do. I've had a few reviews, and of the two people who've actually HAD an SC on their Civics, they've enjoyed them. Everyone else who hasn't had one says to go turbo because SCs suck.

meh... throws off the R/S ratio and destroys the balance of the engine. I thought about one, but I've seen the horror stories.
