2000 Civic LX how to get keyless entry?
Can I just get this and it will work or??

All you need is a remote from the Honda dealership. I'm not sure how you program it, but my brother works at Honda and he got one for my dads 1998 CRV. Think you put the key in and than hit the lock button and it starts to work.... not sure though go to honda and ask.

i have a 2000 civic lx also. it didnt come with a remote for keyless entry but it had the power locks. i bought a aftermarket alarm that includes keyless entry instead.
