Very frustrating. Since a few days ago my 2000 Civic EX has been beeping like i left the key in but i didnt.

Tried wiggling it, tried spraying lube in the key lock. Nothing.

Im trying to set 2 keyless fobs and it learns the code but when i pull the key out it seems to not register since the beep still is on.

Any idea of a fuse or something that could be blown that causes Key left in Beep to be on always with door open?

No idea. I just got my car back from getting tuned and it just started it randomly.

The ICU has three different reminder beeps:

Key in, seat belt, and lights on

Hmmm. So you're saying it could be something else, not necessarily just key in issue?

Close the driver's door and do this:

Yup. That's how I programed them. It works but then when I take my key out and open door it doesn't work. Don't understand it.

Do the power locks work with the key or the switch on the driver's door?

Do you get the expected results in steps 12-13?

Yessir. I added two remotes. But when I take the key out they stop working, like it didn't save it or something.

This is aftermarket fobs by the way, dk if that matters, but they do recognize and program following the Steps just not when i take the key out
