i put on the hid and my lights shine in the air i aimed it down but since the headlight is so big it shines a beam into the air still. Is there something I can get to put into the headlamp so it doesnt reflect off the bottom of the headlamp?

Yah, retrofit a projector into your headlight housing. Right now your blinding everyone.

i dont think im blinding everyone cause my lights are aimed to the ground and the angle the light shoots in the air say the angle is 2 o'clock

do a retro fit... and get rid of the crappy ebay plug n play kit. go into the lighting section on HT and look up how to do an HID Retro fit...it gets expensive but is the RIGHT way to do HID's on a non hid car.

my lights used to do the same thing there really is no way to fix this, due to the civics crappy *** lights

just put it in a angle were it does not toch the bottom of the housing and dont get to close to the car in the front

Instead of putting a reflector on top of the hid assembly, try taking it back apart and painting a square of matte black below the bulb so it doesn't reflect as much. Make sure it's heat paint, I'm sure those hid's get pretty toasty.

ill try this tonite.
when im behind my friend in his dc i blind the hell out of him when he looks in the mirror
being as hes dumped and im not that low.

i just did, and wow.
no more light way up in the air on the drivers side, the passagner side im going to try moving the bulb in another spot, i moved it and it did make a lil difference but not much.
but now no more throwing light into on coming traffic, now i kinda like my hids lol

what exactly did you do to the headlight housing?
You spray painted the INSIDE of the housing with flat black high temp right?

I'll try that too.

why would you say that? can you explain?

cuz its very easy to paint too much and mess it up if you dont know what your doing, and it doesnt look very good either, but what I did this on were mustangs, few GM cars and some trucks also the paint generally doesnt last very long either
