2000 Civic help
Hey guys first time posting so bare with me! I got in a little fender bender and I'm wondering if any of your know if my damage is fixable. The shop I went to quoted me an outrageous price because they didn't want to fix it and suggested I sell it for scrap. The hood (which I've replaced) fender, left side headlight and the power steering reservoir was smashed from part of the frame being bent back. Now that's my real question, can frame damage be fixed? Anyone know how to? I've got all the parts in my trunk but can't put them in place because of it.
Thank you so much

Re: 2000 Civic help
Thats about 240$ fender, bumper, headlight, and front frame support but you still need paint. I had someone reverse onto my civic ex same has yours i pulled the upper frame with a tree and 🔨 to aline it just right.

Re: 2000 Civic help
Remove the fender. Straighten the part the headlight attaches to. Like Jorge said, running a chain or cable to a stationary object and rolling the car back carefully is a good way to pull it out. You can buy that part, it is called the radiator support, but it requires cutting the old one out and welding the new one in.
Once you have the headlight in place and power steering hooked back up(*), you're street legal again, you can do as much or as little more as you want balancing the budget vs. aesthetics.
* Don't use a generic power steering fluid. You should buy it from a Honda dealer. Some fluids will ruin the seals.

Re: 2000 Civic help
old one does not get cut out and does not need to be welded in. all it really does is provide a place for crap to sit, and can be re attached with self tapping screws and nuts/bolts. the proper way to remove it is to use a spot weld drill bit, and drill out each weld holding the factory one on.
