Default 2000 Civic Hatchback Rear Wiper
Rear Wiper Will not Work. When wiper switch is turned on, hatch open light comes lights up on the dash. Fuses & motor are good. Bypassed the switch with a jumper same result.

Sounds like you need a new motor? You do a bench test on it?

when you do try to turn on the wiper does it try to move at all?

I used one (working) from my friends car and his did not work either and my motor worked on his.

This car was wrecked (side swiped) on the passenger side. Brought the car after wrecked and repairs were done.

Did you check to see that all the wiring is intact? Pull the interior and check it.
