2000 Civic front end wobble.... **UPDATE 3-28-14**
Ok its been a year since I finally got a few things done. I just recently installed left and right brand new axles, new inner and outer tie rods both sides, new KYB struts and spring assembly both sides. Now after replacing the tie rods I drove a while and it wore down the treads bald almost (yea I know I shouldve got an alignment after but I wanted to get most of the front end work done and let the alignment be the last thing money was tight thats why I couldnt get all the parts at once...). You can hear the tires making a wobbling noise when driving slow and as you build up speed it gets worse between 50-60 its so shaky I can feel it bad in my legs. So yesterday I rotated the bad tires to the rear and the good tires on back with tread to the front. It still drove exactly the same. I got an alignment today (because it needed it after the tie rods were installed) and again it still drives the same way. I replaced the rotors about 2 years ago because it was pulsating when I was breaking. But even after the new rotors it still pulsated. I dont know what else to really do because The tires that are on there now I bought all 4 brand new a couple years ago and I took them to another person to rebalance them to double check it wasnt that he said that it was good as far as being balanced. Where can I go from here?

Put your front end on jack stands. Grab the wheel at 12 and 6. Try to wiggle it. Does it move? Now grab at 3 and 9, and try to wiggle. Does it move now?
If your car is vibrating, take it back to the alignment shop. They didn't do it properly.

I dont hear any noises from what I read about wheel bearing symptoms, ive never changed the wheel bearings. I have 246,000 miles on this car since I bought it with 15,000 miles.

well since you have know the vehicle and its maintenance since 15,000 mi you know what has and has not been done,
I would say at this point most every piece of suspension/driveline (minus motor and trans) should prob have been replaced at one time or another.
I would bet its a collective worn bushing and wheel bearing issue.

Has anyone suggested tires yet? An alignment issue doesn't usually cause a wobble. A tire with a busted belt or a bent/out of balance wheel will cause a wobble.

Re: 2000 Civic front end wobble.... **UPDATE 3-28-14**
Just a little update and to B serious I just got brand new tires and an alignment a few days ago. It did drive a little smoother at first im guessing because the new tires and the balancing and alignment is just kind of masking the root of the problem a little.
It still vibrates not as bad as it did. But definately enough to make my feet numb after a 30 min drive. Just to make a cliff of what ive replaced in the car...
2000 civic auto..
-replaced all motor and trans mounts
-replaced rotors
-replaced drivers and passenger side axles
-replaced drivers and passenger side inner and outer tie rods
-replaced drivers and passenger side struts and springs
-new tires and balanced and alignment
Its like once it hits 4th gear at 50mph thats when it gets worse.. seems like when its under load. When I let off the gas pedal it smooths out a little. Also my brakes scrub when coming to a slow stop not a hard stop and when I start off really slow like in a parking lot where there are no cars I can feel in the floorboard that something seems like its making the front wobble side to side a little like a part that is not true and parallel holding the tires in line or something. And I just got new pads not too long ago so they are good I looked at them the other day. Any other ideas?

Re: 2000 Civic front end wobble.... **UPDATE 3-28-14**
what brand of axles did you buy? axles from autozone/advance/etc do not have weights on them, causing the axles to be unbalanced which will cause a vibration. Normally though, the vibration is when accelerating at lower speeds is when it is more noticeable. If you bought aftermarket axles, you may be able to take them to a local driveshaft/axle shop and see if they could balance them.

Got them from autozone new not reman. Are u talking about the rubber dynamic dampners on the shaft as far as the weights? Both the drivers and passengers side has them. But it was doing the same thing at the same speed with the old stock honda ones that were in there.

I will check that when I get a chance. seems like both sides of each rotor has been digging in on one side at one time one pad was wearing at an angle instead of even a while back.
