2000 Civic EX Blower Help
I know my way around my engine bay and just about everything in the "make it stop, go, and turn" category but when things go wrong under the dash with my little creature comforts I need help.
I have the **** style climate control and all of the threads I have searched bring up conversions, not really trouble shooting information.
Anyhow- my problem is that my blower doesn't blow any air whatsoever... it doesn't even turn on. I bought my car as a shell and swapped it and everything but the blower worked, I never felt like troubleshooting it before since I was worried with other things (not car related) and I have a daily driver so it wasn't too big of a deal. Now it's cold and I need my defrost and I do not plan on letting the car sit over the winter.
I have a few questions.
1. Which fuses control the blower? I do not have the original interior fuse box cover and online diagrams are a bit tough to find. 7.5 amp correct?
2. Where is the blower located and what is required for removal?
3. Common issues besides the fuse and blower that could be causing this issue?
Thanks guys.

just jump the blower motor connector with a test light and see if it comes on ... if so you need a blower motor... if not then you need to check the blower resistor ,,, then the blower motor switch....

^ Thanks- that's typically the way I would trouble shoot something like this but I am used to have tear out the entire dash board to get to the blower. I just took a look less than 30 min ago and it's a very userfreindly setup. It'd probably be done by now but it's so cold outside I can't be out for more than 15 min at a time without losing function in my fingers. (Windy and 30 degrees or less, going down to 23... I hate winter!)

Alright, so the blower is just fine.
I don't have the fuse panel so I am not really sure which fuse to even check... if anyone knows that'd be awesome.

Well I bought a new resistor and relay- installed them and nothing.
Checked fuses... again- they're all good.
Checked switch- it worked fine could physically hear it opening in the relay.
Tested out the relay harness connector with the test light- light popped on breifly and went out, my tester is dead and so is my car. Doesn't start, just makes me the door ajar noises. My alarm is stuck on full blast and my transponder won't work to shut it up.
I can't find any hacks/splices in the interior wiring at all.
This is just great.
I'm headed out to check my fuses and see which ones blew if any. I'm hoping it's just the fuses that are blown. Still though- I have no clue what is wrong with my blower. I am about to put a dimmer switch with an inline fuse and hotwire the blower. This is rediculous.

Thanks.
I just replaced them all the other day and double checked I did the right ones since the 40 was blown out under the hood.
Only thing is- I am afraid I might have fried something in the system since the car is still dead.
I guess the dash is getting pulled to see what the heck my problem is. It's almost like my battery is dead but it's not, I hate OEM electronics! If I didn't put it in I am dazed and confused by the plethora of wiring, even on such a simple car. I couldn't begin to even trouble shoot a climate control problem in my Z. I wish I was born with pinkies that were good for ohm testing.
