Icon2 2000 Civic EX auto to manual questions

If your viewing this lemme just say thanks, but to get to the point i've got a few questions before I start looking for parts for my auto to manual transmission conversion. My first question is, will I be able to use the same stock axles that were on my automatic transmission as long as they are still in good condition? My second question is about wiring, and I was wondering if since i'll be buying a manual 99-00 ecu, and will be using my stock wiring harness already in the car, will I be able to start the car without installing the sensor which senses the clutch pedal is fully pressed in and will my ignition still work and let me pull the key out when the car is off when using the stock auto harness with a 99-00 manual ecu? And my last question is, will it be possible to do this conversion without an engine stand, just an engine lift?

Thanks any help is sooo appreciated!

No, manual axels needed, yes your stock ENGINE harness is fine, you will need to do some mods the the interior harness, exactly what I don't know but there is an amazing sticky thread on here. Just do some research. It's a fairly simple thing to do, just make sure you have everything you need and follow the auto to manual thread on here.

First off u need the clutch pedal with brake pedal cause if you leave it with thes you have on the car the clearance of the brake pedal is extremely close. If you don't want to do all the job of taking of stuff that is all the way in the dash I just cut off a lil piece of the brake . That's what I did to save me some time . Also you will need to disconnect a blue relay I forgot the name buts under the steering column . You can miss it. And some modifications under the shifter . Finally you will have to run a extra wire for you reverse cause you loose it when you take off the auto shifter
