Default 2 wire to 3 wire IACV

ok so my car was a stock d16y8 and I have since swapped it for a d16y7 but well I kept the y8 intake and injectors.

So my plan is to swap the throttle body for a y7 throttle body and swap for y7 injectors (I have an ecu lined up for this also)

So my plan is to add the 3rd wire to my ecu harness and run a wire out and Pin it to the plug
The other 2 wires I plan to just splice Into the harness and leave the stock plug (2wire) disconnected and plug in the 3wire IACV

So my other part I want to do for the 3rd wire of the IACV I want to put a 4 prong relay in and wire a switch off the ground side so I can just disconnect the 3rdwire If I want to go back to 2wire version later

Will this work?

If I confused you sorry It sounds better in my mind

There's no need for a relay, just depin the third wire if you want to switch back to a 2 wire setup later.

i run a wire all the way back to the ecu to the slot that is empty then run the other wire with a male plug end on it and slide it in the middle slot of the 3 wire plug.

It wont make any difference, it'll still run with no IACV, it'll just bounce between 1000 - 1500 RPM at idle, but it does nothing to stop someone from stealing it.
