2 way pager alarm install for 92-95 civic, DIY project?
Do you guys feel that 2 way pager alarm systems can be done with basic electrical knowledge. The most I have wired was a in-dash cd player and lcd setup. Or do you folks feel that it should be done by a professional alarm installer?

yes take it to a pro... they will do a better job with the wiring and appearance of the alarm in the car. Do not take offense to me saying that they might prob do a better job at making sure that alarm is done well enough that a thief is not going to be able to just reach under there and rip it out.

I would take it to a trusted place and ask for a stealth install. If they can't do it, don't let them touch your car. You're getting an alarm to protect an "investment", so you shouldn't hesitate to spend a few hundred dollars for install if it amounts to that.
For reference, the stealth install on my current car took approximately 8 1/2 hours to do.

Definitely doable.
You could even just go semi-stealth and toss it in the quarter panel.
Get a DEI 520T back up battery while you're at it. :-) Also, read the Audio / Security / Video forum sometime, good information is always there.
