2 questions
1. how can you tell if a tranny is a GSR tranny or not?
2. are 99-00 SI axles the same as Integra LS axles,..orrrr can i use 99-00 SI axles for my LS motor which is in my 97 hatch

I think your si axles will work....I believe you can use any set of axles as long as the care it came out of was equipped with a b-series motor from the factory. I'm not totally sure about this but something in my head says it will work. You can always match up the part numbers.

there really is no way, as far as i know unless the VIN plate is still on the tranny, to tell if it is an ls or gsr. they are both stamped s80. all 94+ USDM axles (b series) are the same.

yes..
as long as the axles are for any B-series HYDRO manual tranny...it'll work..
gsr, si, itr, ctr, ls, or b18b, b18c1, b18c5, b16a sir2, b16a2..

okay so both LS and GSR trannys are stamped s80? hmmm how the hell am i suppose to figure out if my friend has a GSR or LS tranny then
