ok so i just started prepn on my gsr valve cover and notice that it was different from my b16 valve cover.. the b16 has the [H] on it while the gsr had HONDA MOTOR CORP. werid never knew there was a difference.. did anyone ever niotice?? and what valve cover came on what year n motor.. i do like the b16 cover however its on my car n i dont wanna take it off n start on that one.. i will once i finish my gsr

There is the early B16 cover which looks like the Type R covers and theres the later B16 and GSR cover.

The engines that came in Hondas will have the "H" the ones that came in Acuras will not. Also the "DOHC VTEC" is writen in two different sizes. The "Honda" covers will have "VTEC" larger than "DOHC" and visa versa on the Acura covers

The covers are the same except minor differences in the lettering...

- early models had the DOHC in lager letters
- later models had the VTEC as larger
- Acura model on usdm car did not have an H, jdm models do

No, i had that one actually chromed for my crx.

Many years ago, i had a zc in the car, and had that cover polished, this is what it looked like, still nice, but not as shiny

polishing was $45

Chrome was $120, it's hard to find places that chrome aluminum
