Do cylinder leak down tests when the engine is cold.

Oh, my mistake, I thought you meant compression was low.

Check the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor.

it runs really bad when first start..we took out the spark plug wire and put it to the bolt of the head and it doesnt spark until it gets warm...

i forgot which 2 wires it was but it dont spark...and after the engine is warm it then sparks when we try it again....

my friend has the same civic but his is a coupe and mine is a hatch...same engine...but all four are working on his but on mine only 2 are working until it warms up then they all work and its fine but im just wondering why all 4 of mine arent on at the same time??
