2,500 on cold start
hey guys, i've been gettin a 2,500 idle in the mornings when i start my del sol up. Its so rediculus that i can let off the clutch and drive w/o gassing it, ITS LIKE ITS AN AUTO.. NNOOOO. Anyway, i've been reading some stuff on this and it seems its my IAVC. only problem is that im not sure what, or where that is, and how to fix it to get my idle down. Can anyone help, pics would be appreciated. flame all you want, i like to hear new ****

Well I have heard that it could just be because it is cold. But the IACV is located behind the throttle body, there are two bolts that will remove it, then take carb cleaner and spray the little screen, make sure you clean it good and that should do the trick(if it is the IACV that is the problem).
Sorry i don't have pics. Haven't gotten the digital cam working yet.

Re: (Apocolipse269)
mine does it too, almost up to 3k with my LS in my eg...its only on cold start up too. I thought it might be attributed to my larger fuel pump...but honestly have no clue...its goes to normal in about a min or two, so i really dont complain.
