2.5 drop too much?
Does 2.5 drop on a '00 Civic slam the car? I don't want that slammed look. I had 1.5 drop before. Just curious.

2.5" is fine. that's what i have. i like the slammed look.
as for 1.5", my friend just got that on his prelude, and he's very unhappy, almost the same as keeping it stock he says. not very noticeable either.

Which springs do you guys recommend? I want to take it to Auto-X someday and I will be buying Illuminas for my shocks. Do you guys recommend Skunk2 coils? What is the difference between linear and progressive springs other than they look kind of different?

i would personally go for either skunk2 or ground-control... but i'm using some
kind of Japanese springs(sleeves)... it's hard to memorize the name...(it's in Japanese) and the difference between linear and progressive... hmm... i guess it's
just ride quality and stiffness...

Difference between linear and progressive... Linear springs have the same spring rate no matter how much you compress them. Progressive springs are softer for the first inch or 2 of travel, then they harden up to provide better handling. The only downside to it, is that it can also be a source of unpredictability. Linear springs would be the best if you plan to do mostly track and autox events. If a lowered look is what you want, just stick with progressive springs. Linear springs are a lot more harsh on the street.
