2.5 in. down pipe to 2.2 in. axel back?
 

Well, right now I have greddy evo cat back which I think the down pipe is 2.5 in., but my muffler is fu*k, the inside is all rust up and falling apart, so I found this mugen style twin loop axel back, the only problem is that the inlet of it is 2.2 in. well, you really want the exhaust piping to get bigger as you go back, not smaller. going from 2.5" to 2.2" wont cause you any problems, maybe just mes up the flow of the exhaust, but nothing major. if you're NA and aren't even make all that much power.. you probably wouldnt even notice a difference.

yeah in general you dont want to go smaller but i agree with JDM ninja, if you arent really making a lot of power and youre NA then the difference isnt going to be much of a problem

Just wondering....how big is the stock one? on EKs?

I'm pretty sure it's under 2".
