Why a Kamikaze header? Do you plan on supercharging your motor? I've heard that the Kami header works well with a SC. Look into the DC JDM 4-1 or OEM JDM ITR 4-1 header.. You might lose a little low to midrange, but with the better flow you'll get some nice top end gains. The more mods you get: cams, HC pistons, etc the better the gains..

I have an internally stock b16 in my canadian sir (us si)... ive also got the JDM ITR 4-1 header with 2.5" t1r full catback and test pipe. down low, there isnt much activity (there isnt any way you slice it) with the b16.. but just over 4000rpm the car spurs out a different tone, and picks up the pace a little... once you hit vtec its like you are running with no exaust at all! WIDE OPEN!!! no restriction.
screw low end.. you never had any of it anyways (unless s/c). top end is all that matters :D
