Default Is 2,300 worth it for a 95 Green EX Coupe?

I got my car stolen recently and was found and was given total loss. Im trying to get back in the honda game. So ive gone a little car shopping and found myself a Green 95 EX Coupe for 2,850.(I got the price down all the ay to 2,300.) The car is in running condition has the stock V-tec D16Z6 with 184,000+- on the Odometer....Black interior ,black door panels with the tweeters installed. Has Cold A/C....Working Sunroof,Power Windows , Locks , and Steering..Passenger and Driver Airbags... 5 Spd. The interior is pretty clean a stain or two in teh rear seats and a little rusty seat belt in the back. Has a Casset Aftermarket Radio (swap that piece of shyt out). So i guess the interior is a 8/10 and the exterrior is pretty mint only a couple minor dents ....Clear coat chipping off the hood and left fender has a couple rust spots towards the bottom of the hood as well as on top of the roof ( has actual hole smaller then .5 of a inch) The Rear bumper is kinda off on the passenger side and has alot of scuffs in the bend. Car has brand new Falken Ziex 14 inch tires 185/xx/14 and has mudflaps . The Motor is pretty clean no CELS. All electrical seems to work except the Speedometer. So pretty much a little Bondoing to fix those rust spots and a can of clear coat. The car is bone stock. All gear go in smooth idle is smooth no grinds what so ever. Car seems to have a clean title. SO should i buy this car for 2,300 ???

From wha tyou say, sounds like a pretty good to me. Especially since it's 5 spd. And since you're in Florida, A/C must be pretty important for you. I'd make sure it has a clean title, and have fun with it. What are your plans for it? Make sure you like that year of coupe too

2300 is a good price. I would jump on it. A hood, rear bumper, and fenders can be replaced and found for cheap. If all the power components are in good working order that is a plus along with the A/C

this is a fing horrible deal.

2300 for mutliple rust spots as well as a hole in the roof.

i would pay 1500 no more.

i dont know how long you guys have been in the honda scene but 2300 for a rusty honda with a good interior is a rip off.

the milage on teh car.

you can pick up a swapped eg for that much or at least a clean one...

i almost picked up a PERFECT condition 95 coupe for 2500 NO RUST perfect interior perfect everything with 110k miles kept under cover all time. I am in WV too which makes rustfree cars cost twice as much....

i picked up my 97 hatch in DAP color for 2100...

i say pass this because this is not a deal.

oh and PS i love mudflaps i bought 4 for a bit more money for my crx...i cant fit them on my ek since i am slammed. BUT i may try for the front still

Really? Where the hell do you live?? Definately not like where i live, and for that matter anywhere else. I still says he should do it, maybe down to 2200.

i live in Morgantown, WV where rust free cars are very hard to coem by.

i have couple friends that live in Jersey and they always fine super awesome deals on cars.

look on here, look in your newspaper, look on craigslist 2300 is not a deal...

i havent even seen the pictures but from what you describe it sounds horrible...

you might be able to fix the scuffed up rear bumper, rusted hood/fender, but that hole in the roof is not fixable well it is...but will rust agian.

keep looking...

took me 4 months to find my CLEAN RUST FREE CRX Si (1400)

2 months to find a clean NO RUST EG (2100) this was back in 2004 though so a tad more money

and 2 months to find my CLEAN NO RUST EK hatch for 2150. this was 5 months ago.

my friend picked up a teal NO RUST with 17s and a d15b swap and other various things for 2100.

hondas dont come cheap where i am from cause they are usually rusted out cause of all the snow we get.

as for shells that maybe your cheapest alternative...but look on here for cheap cars they are always available.

Rust is Very very minimal....Plus the car is well over 10 years old.....VERY hard to find the car I found in such good body condition and interior as well as the engine.....This will be my second honda ialready purchased it I may be able to get the price down to say 2000 i found out my friend is good friends with the dealer owner so yea 2,000 bucks for me is a even better deal....I dunno but mudflaps help keep the car look clean and look pretty good when you have ur car slammed..... p.s honda 305.......the single cam already coming out hard....its stock i swear =]
