i just got my exhuast system done.
-4-2-1 greddy header
-carsound 2.25 cat
-2.25 custom piping
-5zigen fireball

its a jdm b16 basicaly stock
well when i 1st got it...and i hit vtec it was this loud *** rasby sound...my friend was right next to me and he said he almost went deaf when i hit vtec..?
but after 2 days of driving it doesnt sound like that anymore..just a deep rumble..so i guess it need to be broking in...but my question is..

-i though this set-up was good for mid and top end..
-me a my friend(98 stock prelude) mess around alot and usually i can beat him about 4-5 cars, now 2-3 if i shift right..
-now it doesn seem to pull anymore..
-especially in top,it takes forever to get up to redline..
-i do however feel better low end pull....but when vtec ingages it doesnt seem to make power pass 6300 rpm..
-i had stock piping and the 5zigen b4 this and 3rd and 4th gear pull on the highway is great, fast and strong
-now i have to wait for it to get up there, and i have trouble w. my friends prelude(stilll beat him but i have to try alot harder now
-do i have to wait for this system to fully break in or what?
-doesnt seem right from what ive seen..

man now i rather put my stock piping back on..

well any help or thoughs would be good..maybe some tuning..? i dont think it would help w. my mods though..

i did a search and looks like ppl are doing 2.5 and not 2.25 2.5 seems to be doing good for eveyone else..but i think 2.5 is kinda big for a stock b16..?
