1st time at track, suggestions/tips welcome
94 sol vtec, bone stock, only preparation was no spare tire and 1/4 tank gas. Also, this was my first time EVER at the track, and I've been only driving stick for about 2 months. It was really fun though.
60- 2.493
330- 6.99
1/8- 10.624/68.51mph
1000- 13.712
1/4- 16.34/84.57mph
I launched at 3.5k, it felt a little high, i had alot of wheel spin. all suggestions welcome, thanks.

if u cut your 60' times down to 2.0-2.1 u should be able to get into the 15's. get better shocks/springs, traction bar, tires, or even an alignment.

You're actually supposed to launch higher, but instead of dumping the clutch, feather it out, keeping the rpm's as high as you can without spinning the tires much.
Not too bad for your first time. You said it was a VTEC, which would mean b16a3, which would mean you should be more around the mid-high 15 second area. With some practice you should be able to get there no problem. And if it's a D16z6 VTEC, that time isn't too bad at all.

In a perfect world you would launch as high as you can w/o spinning the tires to much, you don't want your car to "bog down" coming out of the hole.

Practice. Your car is basicly a slightly quicker 99-00 SI so work on your driving and maybe get some drag radials. You might get a 9.9 1/8th with some good driving.
